During the initial consultation, we perform a comprehensive health history and spinal examination, along with 3-D imaging if needed. This initial appointment lasts about one hour. The doctor will then analyze the findings to develop a customized care plan. The first adjustment typically occurs during the second appointment.

Upper Cervical Chiropractic can help with low back pain by correcting misalignments in the upper cervical spine, which influence the entire spinal structure. By gently realigning the neck, it promotes overall spinal alignment, improves nervous system function, and reduces stress on the lower back, leading to pain relief and better mobility.

When you think of traditional chiropractic care, you might picture manual manipulation, neck bends, and joint cracks. Upper Cervical Chiropractic care, however, is different. During our adjustments, you remain in a neutral position, and the technique is very gentle—there's no popping or cracking of the neck. While the table may make a noise that can be surprising, any subsequent achiness as your body readjusts is normal, and the adjustment itself is not painful.

Adjusting pediatric spines is both safe and effective. Our youngest patient was just a few days old, while our oldest patients are in their 90s. Both Dr. Dauphinais and Dr. Pratt have specialized training in pediatrics and enjoy adjusting little ones' spines. We believe spinal care is essential for optimal body function, helping to ensure your child's spine grows straight and balanced to prevent injuries and issues before they arise.
